About Shane Torres & Fundamental GC Services

Shane Torres, founder of Fundamental GC Services, has spent more than two decades in the construction and real estate industries building projects from the ground up. He began his career in 2000 as a framing contractor, developing a hands-on understanding of structural construction, jobsite operations, and the discipline required to deliver projects efficiently in the field.

Over the years, Shane expanded his experience beyond framing by owning and operating multiple construction companies, gaining expertise in renovations, structural work, and full-scale general contracting. His field-first background allows him to manage projects with a practical builder’s mindset—understanding how trades interact, where delays typically occur, and how to maintain quality while keeping projects on schedule and on budget.

In addition to his construction background, Shane serves as President and Co-Owner of RE/MAX Concepts, giving him deep insight into the real estate side of development, property value, and market demand. He also owns companies involved in commercial development, further expanding his experience into the planning, financing, and execution of larger-scale real estate projects.
This combined experience across construction, real estate, and development allows Shane to approach projects with a broader strategic perspective—understanding not only how buildings are constructed, but how they perform as long-term assets.

Fundamental GC Services was founded on the belief that successful construction projects come from strong fundamentals: clear scope, disciplined management, skilled trades, and transparent communication. The company focuses on delivering well-executed projects while protecting schedule, budget, and long-term value for clients.

Today, Fundamental GC Services works with homeowners, investors, and development partners on projects ranging from renovations to new construction. Shane’s approach remains rooted in the same principles that shaped his early career in the field—build it right, manage it responsibly, and stand behind the work.
